Soneva Kiri has a special workforce of African night crawlers involved with its onsite composting. These earthworms are raised in boxes containing animal manures, coconut fibre and sandy loam topsoil and fed with food leftovers from the host restaurant. The earthworms then excrete highly fertile vermi-compost rich in minerals and nutrients and high quality plant food for our herb and vegetable gardens.
