Soneva's sparkling Festive programme
With the festive season getting ever closer, we are excited to share with you our December events calendar.

From December 20 to 24, children and teenagers can take part in the Festive Football Camp at Soneva Fushi. Mikael and Karina are hosting an exclusive five-day training programme. It will be the second time these legendary players have shared their skills and experience, teaching ball skills, strategy, and the emotional and psychological aspects of football.
Chef Tim Raue (2*)
Chef Tim Raue is once again returning to Soneva Fushi to cook at Once Upon a Table from December 25, 2019 to January 8, 2020. Restaurant Tim Raue currently has two Michelin stars and 19 points from Gault & Millau, taking the 48th place on the list of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants. Chef Tim is the only German chef, so far, to have been portrayed in the renowned Netflix TV series, Chef’s Table.
Peter is a Professor of Global History at Oxford University, where he specialises in Eastern Mediterranean, Russian, Middle Eastern, Central Asian and Chinese history. Professor Frankopan will be hosting a series of talks and intimate dinners from December 14 to 22 for guests at Soneva Fushi. The talks and discussions will centre on his most recent book: The New Silk Roads:The Present and Future of the World.
Roger, the world renowned therapist, will be at Soneva Jani from December 13, 2019 to January 3, 2020. He has worked with numerous celebrities and has been featured in magazines, TV health programmes, and spa and health related articles throughout his career. His blend of western scientific and medical approaches to health and the eastern Shamanic and esoteric approach to happiness and wellbeing create bespoke treatments for his clients.
Bill Curry has worked at Six Senses spas and other well known resorts in Thailand and the Maldives. Guests can benefit from his therapies such as Deep Tissue Fusion massage and Reiki from November 10, 2019 to February 1, 2020. His devotion to integrating breath work and relaxation from his meditation studies into his massage techniques and healing modalities makes each treatment truly revitalising and refreshing.
Chef Massimo Camia (1*)
Massimo Camia was born in Dogliani in Italy, and has lived in Monforte d’Alba since he was 14 years old. His restaurant, Massimo Camia, in the Cueno province earned its Michelin star in 2001. From December 10 to 17, he will be delighting guests at Soneva Kiri with his passion for cooking and serving authentic Italian food made using seasonal ingredients.
Elvio Cogno Winery
The Elvio Cogno Winery produces the principle wines of the Langhe, in Italy. From December 10-17 guests at Soneva Kiri will be lead through wines that are famous the world over for their elegance, texture and balance by Valter Fissore. With four Barolo labels, Elvio Cogno is the most important producer of the Menzione Geografica Aggiuntiva (MeGA) “Ravera”.
