Stefano, from Sweden, is the head chef of Operakällaren, the country’s most opulent restaurant that is housed within the historic Opera House.
He began his culinary career at the age of 14, working in his family’s Italian restaurant with his father. Stefano later moved to Italy, where he received classical training as a chef at a three Michelin-starred restaurant. In 1996, Stefano took on the role of Operakällaren’s head chef, resulting in the restaurant being given its first Michelin star in 1998. The star was lost, but later regained in 2014.
As a royal chef, Stefano is responsible for banquettes and gala dinners at the Stockholm Palace.
